D’alessio Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

This place was disappointing on every level and we will never return. When we walked in the door, instead of a hostess or a, "Someone will be right with you." a man standing behind the "bar" started yelling - 2 for dinner, 2 for dinner! Because I guess someone was supposed to rush up and seat us. The server was nice, but didn't seem to know anything about the menu or the food. He gave a very nice spiel about them being the "only authentic Italian Restaurant in the area" but when asked why, he couldn't really answer. I ordered the Veal Piccata with house salad and my husband got the Veal Saltimboca with a Cesar salad. The waiter asked if we would like garlic knots and we said yes. The first indication that something was wrong was when the people seated next to us, who had not even ordered yet, got garlic knots. Then the table behind us. Then the people across the room. They looked tasty, so I figured I would just ask again. Our salads were brought out and were exactly the same. A nice house salad does not make a nice Cesar salad with just a change of dressing. But at least ours didn't have hair in it like the table next to us, nor a waitress who apologized as an afterthought for it. I was told the garlic knots would be right out. Dinner came and was just about the most tasteless thing I have ever had. Both dishes looked exactly alike, with a slightly darker tasteless sauce on my husband's. Once again, I asked for some garlic knots. When the knots finally got to the table about 3/4 of the way through our meal, the waiter said, "yeah, sorry, the kitchen was really backed up." Which was the deciding factor in writing the review. Bad food, bad service, not the best atmosphere, and being lied to. We got out as soon as possible.

I don't write reviews but yelp has helped me so many times. I owe this one. This restaurant is truly a disaster. We arrived at 6:15 and didn't get out until 8:40pm. The server may have been the worst I've ever experienced. She actually brought a dish to the table as an apology for a screw up; let it sit 10 minutes then came back said she made a mistake again picked up the dish (which we had not touched) and re-served it to another table in front of our eyes. It was horrible. One of our party never received their food (which server never apologized for) an hour later it came as still the wrong dish in a take out box but we gave up. Finally got the check which did not include anything we ordered, clearly someone else's but we just paid it in order to get out. Pizza was edible, eggplant average, gnocchi terrible, shrimp pasta terrible and the 4 cheese tortellini the worst sauce we've ever had. I would love to see more restaurants in Wesley Chapel. Just not like this one.

One of two things has happened at D'Alessio. Either they've got the opening kinks worked out, or you need to go for lunch. We stopped by today and had mostly a positive experience, with a few minor gripes. First, a gripe. The garlic knots were on the dry side, and Mom complained of not enough garlic flavor. I thought they were fine, if indeed light on the garlic, but still too dry. I think they were a few minutes too long in the oven. As for the rest of the food, I can only say that it was fresh and, without exception, delicious. Our house salads were simple, or as one reviewer put it, "some lettuce and barely a slice of tomato". Close, but mine had two slices of VERY fresh tomato on crisp lettuce with FRESH carrot shreds. Mom's didn't have the carrots, but did have slivered Bermuda onions, also extremely fresh. The house balsamic vinaigrette was the perfect dressing, light and fresh. It's a side salad; as long as it's fresh and the dressing is good, what's to complain about? My dude's chicken soup was clearly homemade, and we all agreed that it tasted like, wait for it.... chicken! Not a noodle in sight, only savory, lovely chicken and herbs. And two tiny bits of soft vertebrae. Dude said he would still order it again, it was that good. We all had lunch specials, Mom and the Dude had ziti with marinara and sausage or meatballs. He had sausage, she had neither. The portions looked like dinner portions and arrived steaming hot at the table. Both declared it a winner. I had the half order of lasagne, which is made with meat sauce and béchamel. There isn't much meat in the sauce. But it was still delicious, and I ate it all. The noodles (8 skinny layers) were fresh and worth the lack of meat sauce. Think of it as a light cheese lasagne. The thing I really didn't like was the grease pooling around the casserole dish. Letting it cool a little made it easy for me to avoid the grease, but I won't be ordering the lasagne again. Still, I did eat it all. It was good. We also ordered a couple of glasses of wine, a sangiovese and a carmenera, both of which were excellent at $6.50 and $7.50 per glass. It didn't hurt that the bottles were opened for us, so they hadn't been sitting for the better part of a week. Of the two, I prefer the Sangiovese, at $6.50. It's a bargain for such a nice wine. Service was excellent, but we did arrive late (2:30) and only 4 other tables were occupied. We'll certainly give them another chance. I'd like to try the pizza and the spaghetti Bolognese.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The little bit of food we received after 30 minutes was disgusting and after waiting another 40 for an entree asked for the check and left. Horrible service, horrible food. Sad because the location has so many people that would love great Italian food.

Went for lunch and was seated quickly but waitress did not introduce herself and disappeared for 15 minutes. When I asked the waitress if our order was going to take long (since it took her so long to come back to our table) she replied that they were really busy. The whole restaurant only had a table of 10 people and the 2 of us. If they consider 12 people to be busy, I couldn't imagine going there at dinner time. I decided to leave and not waste any more time or my money. I have no desire to go back. I don't see this restaurant lasting long with that kind of service.

Worse Italian restaurant within 30 miles. Ordered shrimp scampi and the waitress had no clue that it was on the menu. After it came to my table, I asked the waitress where's the pasta? She told me that it came without pasta. I believe the scampi was the most expensive item on the menu. Any way the shrimp seemed undersized, no flavor. A complete waste of time. I wish I read the other reviews on yelp. All of these warnings! I love Italian food, but this? I had better food made by Swanson. I feel bad leaving this review, I want independent restaurants to prosper, but I have to speak the truth.

Hubby and I went there this evening for a night out. Wishing I would have read the reviews first. Service was slow. Food was sub par to say the least. Hubby had white pizza I had eggplant parm my side of spaghetti was cold had we not already waited for what seemed like forever I would have sent it back. I am not Italian and my sauce tastes better. I have been to many small Italian restaurants before and this one I will not be returning to. Food was pricy and not even worth the price.

My first visit to D'alessio's resulted in slow service in placing our order and then getting our food. What really turn me off is when we tried to order take out pizza over the phone, apparently the folks answering the phone do not speak English which makes sense if you are in a comedy skit but not if you are running a business. The call resulted in an angry order taker and us hanging up. I can always go somewhere else for Pizza.

Terrible service.....Food very oily....NOT ITALIAN DESPITE WHAT YOU WOULD THINK for the price....When there are no less than 4 other far superior restaurants in the same strip center...you know you're in trouble...

Everything is made fresh and it is worth waiting for. You get garlic knots as the bread to start, spectacular! They are the best knots anywhere in the bay Area. They are included with the meal making it even better. The entrees are authentic Italian fare. The pizza is like no other i have ever had. The crust is perfect and the sauce is light and delicious. Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and professional. Chocolate mousse cake and Canoli are amazing to round out a great meal. If you want great food this place should be your choice.

First no menus had to wait for menus. Then they bring dough with butter with Parmesan cheese no flavor. I ordered Veal piccata...the veal was a frozen veal patty with 2 lemon wedges no sauce or capers or butter no flavor and plain noodles. So send it back they send out a boiled piece of meat with lemon and oil...it was so nasty. My son got chicken Alfredo which was watered down and no flavor. The pizza was ok but nothing to brag about. This was our second time and the last!! Took 50 minutes to get terrible food. Don't waste your time!!

This is good pizza! Thin crust, fresh topping. Pastas are mostly home made. A must try if you like Italian food. Great service.

I am writing, in part, to encourage people who went to this restaurant and were disappointed to give it another try. I've been several times in the last few weeks and I believe they have worked out many of the bugs in their service and the food is really the best Italian we have in New Tampa. I also want to mention that this is clearly an Italian family who has a more European approach to service -- a slower pace, spend two hours enjoying a meal, with a nice bottle of wine, really talk to the people you're with, and the server leaves you mostly alone, unless you summon the server. Long pauses between courses, nothing hurried and rushed, where the meal is the thing you went out to do. If you have hungry kids, or are late for their baseball game, or trying to make a movie ... This isn't the place for you. But if you have a couple hours to enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner where you have ample time to really talk with your date, where you don't get hurried along by a server eager to turn the table, etc. I love this place, and I thought the food and wine was very fairly priced for the quality. Friends who have spent long periods of time in Italy agree. It's a different kind of place than the chains we choke on out here in the burbs, and I think that's wonderful.

It took us awhile to try this place because of the reviews, but oh my gosh, I am so sorry we waited. Some people mentioned the prices...it really wasn't too far off from Olive Garden but it is worlds away in quality. Pastas are made on site and everything looked amazing, we got gnocchi Gorgonzola and pasta carbonara and they were both amazing. They came with a side salad that was pretty good. The garlic knots were delicious and the sangria is made there and so much better than others in the area. Locally owned and operated, so support a local rather than the chains that get everything shipped frozen. We got the two entrees and salads, two beers, two sangrias and spent about $55 before the tip.

Ok, the place has been open now for three weeks so I thought it was time to try it out. I was greeted by a beauttiful Italian speaking blonde young lady so we're off to a great start. I ordered the pasta fagioli along with linguine and shrimp in a light white sauce. He was liberial with the garlic and I really enjoyed my pasta. Next time I'll pass on the soup. I sat at the counter so I could look around and talk to the owner. This place does have potential and I hope they make it. Several of the other post I read complained about the service but I didn't have that problem. However I agree with them they do need to get their prices a little more in line. I ordered a pizza to go for the kids and my bill with 2 beers came to $53.

I had a good recommendation from our neighbors who are from NY so I tried a carry out order of lasagna. I did come in a side door that I think is the front door? It was Saturday night, white linen tablecloths, wine glasses on the table, and not one customer except me? The girl at the bar explained they make their pasta fresh , then the owner came over to say the same thing. The girl gave us a take out menu, the owner told us to take a take out menu. The girl snapped "I already told them!". I immediately thought I hope he knows how to manage a team and check social media or the business will go under. I got a small piece of lasagna, it came with a small side salad and 2 hard garlic knots for $18! The lasagna was OK, not great, but the price for what I got, left a bad taste in my mouth.

Terrible service. Staff is clueless. Small portions for above average prices. Everything was over salted and really not very good. Waitress forgot to ask if we wanted dessert until we had already paid. Avoid at all costs.

  • Eddie A.

Freshly made pasta?! My foot!! Everything we ordered was a product of frozen food. The broccoli - soggy and saggy; the chicken - thawed and bland; the alfredo sauce - watery mayonnaise. Needless to say, it was all absolutely TERRIBLE and OVERPRICED!! Two very small portions of chicken salad for $30?!?! Additionally, the wait staff was completely unprofessional. Waitresses were literally leaping over the bar (yes, i kid you not...they were going up and over the bar wall as if they were competing at the Olympics). To make matters worse, our waitress insulted the vegetarians in my party by calling them "rabbits" and criticizing them for ordering salads!! Bottom line is, skip this shameful, pitiful, black hole of a restaurant! You will get better food and customer service at your local Publix frozen section!

Went last night with my husband and son. I had the chef salad and they had pizza. I spent the rest of the night with the worst case of food poisoning I have EVER had! I can only assume it was from the salad which had cold cuts on it. We were seated by the door and watched approximately 4 different groups come in, be seated and leave w/o ordering. Service was slow, they ran out of iced tea, our waiter brought me the wrong salad the first time (looking back I should have eaten that one). A couple sitting next to us was there before us and still had not received their food by the time we left! Why they were still there is beyond me?! The wait staff and employees were running around like idiots not having a clue what to do. When an order was up the kitchen would ring a bell VERY LOUDLY several times - this became quite annoying and disruptive to the dining experience. Ironically when we got the check it was only for the pie, no salad. So I didn't have to pay for the lethal salad! They ran out of bottled water I guess because one of the servers came in the front door with a 24 pack and gave it to the guy behind the wine bar/station. I wondered why she came in the front and not the back?! I really wouldn't want to advertise that I ran out if anything. I don't think we will be returning......

Take a minute to read all the raving 4&5 star reviews that somehow didn't get recommended by Yelp, before deciding to skip this amazing new eatery! After meeting the chef (a Robert De Niro lookalike) at my gym, a friend and I wanted to try out the newest Italian restaurant in town. We arrived for an early dinner around 4 pm and the place was pretty empty. We ordered the eggplant parmigiana and the gnocchi gorgonzola. Both dishes were delightful. The Gorgonzola was creamy and rich, and the parmigiana was a perfect crispy without tasting overdone. For dessert we had the tiramisu, which is handmade by the owners wife and it shows in the flavor and texture. It was magnificent. Yes, as mentioned in other reviews, we could hear servers and cooks talking loudly in the back at times, but I've spent months in Italy and that's just part of the culture. Jesse, their new front end service manager was friendly, competent and obviously takes great pride in making the place excellent. It seems that they have totally overhauled their wait staff and service management since initially opening, and we couldn't think of one complaint. We will definitely be returning and recommending D'Alessio to our friends!

I should have read the reviews on here before we stopped in last night... We visited on a Tuesday at 6 pm and were the ONLY table in the entire restaurant. When you first walk in the place it LOOKS like they are trying to be an upscale restaurant, however when you sit down you realize they have failed. We were sat along the 'back' wall of the restaurant, and the first thing I noticed on that side of the restaurant was that they had 4 different styles of table/chairs. Maybe they were going for a 'rustic' look but it doesn't fit well with the cloth-napking-in wine glass appearance. Same thing with all the plates/saucers/salad bowls, etc. They were all different, nothing matched. I realize this is very knit-picky but it was just an observation. AS for the food. The garlic knots were pretty good. Not the best I've had but not bad. My wife ordered the broccoli spaghetti and wanted to add grilled chicken. The server didn't know if they could do grilled, he though they only did fried (like for chicken parm). After asking he confirmed that it could be done for an additional $4. I ordered the spaghetti bolgnese. Neither dish said anything about being completely covered in Parmesan cheese, however both dishes were delivered to use with a TON of powdered cheese on them. Twas ok for me because I don't mind it, however my wife isn't a huge fan. My dish was okay but not worth the $15 price tag. Same goes for my wifes, her dish was over $20 with the chicken. Both dishes also came with a side salad, which was about 8 pieces of a romaine with a couple cukes, a tomatoe slice, and a few sliced onions. About 10 minutes after ordering our meals we had to ask for the salads. The lone highlight of the night was the child's cheese pizza we ordered for our son (2 years old). I was expecting a small 6 inch or so pizza, but this thing was at least 12" and it was delicious... It was $6.99 and it would have been big enough to feed 3 or 4 kids. Bottom line, the food is overpriced, the portions weren't that big, the overall appearance of the restaurant is pretty shabby. The only redeeming quality to this place was the cheese pizza and the only reason to return IMO. Doubtful that we do return, mainly because I expect this place to go under quicker than the previous tenant Baja Fresh did.

I have to start by saying we were very apprehensive about trying this restaurant because of the bad reviews. I am happy to say I'm glad we did. First of all, we were greeted as we walked in the door. We had reservations for a party of 8 and my wife and I were the first couple to arrive. Our table was ready and we were seated upon arrival. Our server took our drink order within a couple of minutes. She understood we were waiting for the rest of the party and brought us our drinks and waited for the rest to arrive. As each couple arrived she took a drink order and made sure all was good. Complimentary garlic knots were brought to the table and once everyone arrived she came to the table and reviewed the menu and answered questions. Appetizers were ordered and arrived a short time later. All appetizers were prepared correctly and delicious. We ordered 4 different appetizers and they were shared among the couples. Bruschetta, both types of calamari, and the shrimp. Delicious!! A variety of main courses were ordered to include pizza, veal, and two shrimp dishes. Once again, everything was delicious. Our glasses were never empty, the portions were appropriate, the food was prepared correctly and served at the appropriate temperature. Quality was very good and the service excellent.

We went into the restaurant on a Sunday. We were shocked that the restaurant was empty except for some folks sitting at the bar, which I later realized was the owner and his friends. We were seated promptly and told we could sit wherever we wanted. We sat in a quiet corner as we had two small kids and didn't want to disturb others in case more showed up. It was very warm in the restaurant, which was disappointing because we went in to escape our house where the air conditioner had died early that morning. We ordered our food and drinks, and the waitress brought out the bread knots. She then brought out the side salad that came with our meals, which was made of cucumbers, tomato, and iceberg lettuce. I went to put the dressing on my salad and discovered a very small bug. I very quietly shared this information with my husband so that he didn't eat his. The waitress checked on us and I let her know that there was a bug, but it wasn't a big deal. I totally get that this stuff happens, especially in the summer in florida. We waited a bit longer to get our entrees and the chef or owner came out of the back. He was very confrontational and wanted to let me know that it was not a bug in the dressing, but that there were small herbs or pieces of garlic. I didn't want to get graphic at that point because there were other patrons in the restaurant but I let him know that I was 100% sure it was a bug (it had legs and antenna). He let me know that the dressing had been sitting out for a few hours, but it wasn't bugs. Between him being very confrontational with me, in front of my kids AFTER I had said that it wasn't a big deal, AND him telling me he had served food that had been sitting out for a few hours, I was ready to go. My husband and I decided we were uncomfortable with the kids eating chicken and cream sauce from a place that had used poor judgment with other refrigerated food. We let the know that we were going to leave. No one came over to apologize and when we went to leave THEY CHARGED US FOR THE FOOD which we didn't eat or take with us. I'm a small business owner, and I come from generations of small business owners. I get that things like this happen, but it probably would have been better to be non confrontational with a customer, offer them an apology, give them FREE food or not charge them for food they don't want, and give them a gift certificate for next time. We puttered off with two very hungry kids and tried to find somewhere fast for everyone to eat. So very unfortunate.

Stopped in for a quick dinner waited 20 mins for water we didn't get. All while the bartender drank a glass of wine and was eating in front of the customers... Never again!

Let me first start off by saying...the wait time is RIDICULOUS...my family and I have eaten here multiple times and every time have waited longer and longer. The calamari was tough and they definitely skimped on portion size. The marinara sauce tasted like Prego and the salads were bland. The entrees were acceptable; however, for the five star prices, one would expect five star food and service. I have never had a waitress apologize so much. I honestly believe that if the restaurant only had eight tables, we would've had a better experience. The staff and kitchen are never in sync and do not know how to work well together. I will never go here again.

I was hesitant to eat here because I didn't know anyone that had ate here yet. Fantastic food!!!!! I asked the waitress if the chicken was fresh or frozen. Why did I ask this? I've watched way to much Gordon Ramsay, haha. I ordered the chicken parm. It looked fantastic, I'll post a picture next time. After the first bite I knew something was up. Why? Because it tasted like my mom's and grandma's cooking (they're Italian). After eating half my dish I asked if the cheese or breading was home made. Waitress again said yes. I was floored. The waitress wound up brining out her uncle, the cook. She translated my compliments to him in Italian. I don't believe I have ever ate that fresh of food other than momma's house. Can't wait to bring my family and friends here!!! Btw my girlfriend at the chicken Caesar salad and it was also amazing!

After reading the first review, I was a bit nervous. I believe this is a small place and the owner is chasing the American dream of opening a business. So I will be objective in my review, keeping in mind that the staff is new and they are working out the kinks. I already saw changes to some of the issues that were addressed during the initial review. I had the Gnocchi al Gorgonzola and it was phenomenal. My son had the Baked Ziti Sicilian and it was even better. Having spent 9 years in Italy, this food was very close to the real deal. If you are looking for the huge American portions, forget it. The portions are good enough but I could have had more Gnocchi...they were great. They do have some things to refine and make better, but it was overall a nice place. I will be back to try other things on the menu and recommend you give this new place a try.

We came here after our daughter's school dance for pizza (carryout) a few months back. The wait took forever. The pizza was not even hot and fresh. It was stale and dry from the crust, to the cheese, toppings, scant amount of sauce. The worst part was that the pizza had long stringy hair on it. Not worth the price.

So I gave it another shot and have to say I was pleasantly surprised! The food was delish, I had lasagne and my husband had pizza. The service still has a little way to go, but what a fantastic improvement! We will be back for sure.

First impression in a word, arrogance. From the signage and menu to the self gloating. What Italian restaurant charges you $15 and up for a small amount of pasta then gives you powdered parmesan cheese, beefsteak tomatoes in a salad of iceberg lettuce (crap lettuce) and calls it authentic? I ordered the Orecchiette alla Barese, it was very good, but over priced. My wife ordered the Fettuccine Aglio e Olio, very disappointing, large bowl with about a cup of Olive Oil, garlic ( not fresh look like the jar kind) and a small portion of fettuccine. It had no taste to it, had to make it salty to taste anything. The garlic knots (bread) were tasteless and hard. Very little taste of garlic. The service was slow even though there was only one other table. Needless to say will not return!!!

We decided to give this place a try and did so without checking yelp first. I'm GLAD we did because the previous reviews would have kept us from a good dining experience! Like other reviewers, I didn't care for the garlic knots or the "Caesar" salad. However, I found the service to be very friendly and attentive. Our glasses were never less than half full. The Fettuccine Alfredo was wonderful. Since the previous reviews were from quite a while ago, I have to believe that they've made significant improvements. We'll definitely come back!

I'll be quick and too the point. Good: Food quality/quantity, friendly service. Bad: Wait time (there was only one girl, she had to clean tables, hostess, serve and tend bar-ish... She was so sweet and nice with a beautiful smile, but seriously? 9 occupied tables and 1 poor girl to do it all?) If they can hire more help, then 5 stars.

I mistakenly didn't consult the almighty (I'm wearing my Yelp dunce cap - shame on me)! The pasta was cooked perfectly. That's the only positive thing I have to say. There is no hostess. The layout is awkward. Service is impossibly slow. We waited around for seating. Then were directed to the wrong area, walked to the OTHER side of the restaurant where they have a patio-facing door unlocked for more people to squeeze through the awkwardly laid out dining room. On a cold day - this is even less fun. The waitress took forever to get to us. Then brought out our tiny garlic knots that were supposedly the bread that "comes with the meal". (Which she later volunteered to bring more and never did). Then. The whole family meal comes out. Mine was missing. No "one moment". Or "I'm sorry ma'am". Waitress just walks over to another table of 5 and TAKES THEIR ORDER!! What?! Portions are small. I had a side of spag that came even later. It was cooked properly. The lemon chicken was covered in olive oil. Veggies on the side? Gross. Carrots undercooked. Zucchini mushy. The check came after much waiting. It smelled wonderful inside, but was completely lacking in every other way possible. Never again.

I was very concerned at the start of the meal, but I ended up liking the entrée I got from here. We were very confused when we entered the restaurant from what we thought was the front door (via the door by the porch). There was no host stand and we were standing amongst some tables. It turns out we had actually gone in the side entrance. After getting seated and looking at the menu I did feel that the prices were a little on the high side. I thought that the garlic knots that were brought to us were terrible. They were hard and tough and one bite was enough for me. After getting my salad I have to say that I was pleased when I was served my main entrée. I got the chicken Parmesan and it was an extremely large portion. I liked it and would order it again. I can't say that I would go out of my way to eat here, but I would stop in again if I was in the area.

I really wanted to like the restaurant but it is just a 3 star. The food is good but could be better. It is prob the only authentic Italian restaurant in the area. For tampa, especially new tampa, this is as good as it gets. The wine election is great. The owner has great taste The food is overpriced though. I will try their lunch The service is iffy. It's warm but unprofessional. They need a team leader. Someone needs to be the authority figure. I received my food and salad at same time. Only the waiter, non family member wore a uniform. I also think they can be more attentive It is their first month so I give them a break. The restaurant is extremely clean. Decor is homely and rustic. I think they have a lot of potential. Suggest people give them a chance. Plus there are not much to eat around here I think they should contact Chef Ramsey for Kitchen Nightmares. Their family story and unique international background would fit their tv format

Never again. When I walk into an establishment with a big sign that says "the chef is from Napoli" it sets certain expectations. My grandmother was from Napoli and Napolitano fare....this was not. I ordered something I wouldn't normally make at home (Penne alla Vodka) the Menu said it was cooked with bacon and leeks. What I got was a giant bowl of mushy Pasta (I mean...not even close to al dente) the bacon was bacon bits and there wasn't a leek in sight. My husband ordered eggplant parm which was clearly frozen and then microwaved to death. The atmosphere was meh. What a shame...I was really excited to try this too. Wesley Chapel is in need of authentic Italian cuisine. If you want that you will have to just come to my house. In the meantime...Napoli Chef man...feel free to email me if you want someone to come down and teach you how to cook a noodle.

I really love this place! The food is great and the staff is very nice to us. The owner comes over and says hello every time we eat here. It's great to finally have an authentic Italian place in Wesley Chapel that does more than pizza.

Ok, I had intended not to go back to this place. Then something I didn't expect happened. Someone from the restaurant, presumably the owner or a manager, commented on my review. Instead of being petty or defensive, he just stated that they were new, were working on improving, and hoped I'd give them another chance. I respect that. That seems to me the perfect reaction to my original review. So tonight we went back - the whole family. Much better experience! Good service, good meal (we all had pizza), and no real issues. Our server couldn't quite keep up with my water consumption, but that's partly my fault (ever since giving up soda, I drink a lot of water). Got to eat the garlic knots - not the best I've ever had, but very good. The pizza was excellent. The kids meal prices and options were good, but a drink isn't included and are overpriced for kids. They still seem a bit overly proud of their pastas, based on the price. So, the end verdict is that they aren't perfect, but infinitely better than four months ago. Certainly worth a visit by everyone in the area. I know that the Italian/pizza market is very deep, but this place is solid.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
